Near as we can guess, the genesis of CW Now came when someone watched the Demetri Martin "Trendspotting" segment on The Daily Show and decided to do a straight-faced, not-intentionally-funny version of it. Ostensibly an infotaining compendium of items of interest to hip, happening young persons, it's more likely to end up a vehicle for blatant product placement.
