Show Premise:
Yes, it's "still on" -- and probably worth checking out, as its latest iteration includes 1) the promotion of Sam Waterston's character to DA; 2) the addition of Jeremy Sisto as a detective; and 3) the departure of Milena Govich, a fan non-favorite who won't be missed. NBC's attempt to kill the show off by moving it to Friday nights failed last season; the gold standard of police procedurals survived on its usual rich diet of ripped-from-the-headlines cases and cynical line deliveries by Epatha Merkerson.
