Lewis plays a cop who was unjustly imprisoned for twelve years before being exonerated and restored to the force with a whole bunch of Zen affectations and, one would assume, a healthy chip on his shoulder. It doesn't appear that he does any time-traveling at all, but the way this TV season is going, we're not ruling it out.
