After eight seasons, we're pretty much all conditioned not to expect that America's Next Top Model actually is going to locate America's next top model. But that doesn't mean it isn't still fun to watch. The show's casting directors reliably locate a diverse crop of single moms and sociopaths, and even if none of the contestants is all that impressive, odds are that Tyra will liven up a few episodes by throwing a spectacular hissyfit about some damn thing.
