Show Premise:
One of the few success stories of The CW's first year, The Game has achieved what few other CW offerings managed: a sophomore season. (Too bad for you, Runaway.) The show revolves around the lives of NFL players and their significant others, so there's a rich vein of material to be mined, from racial issues to financial concerns. And unless the James Van Der Beek-starring update of the UK's Footballers' Wive$ gets set up somewhere else, this is the only fictionalized gloss on the football world you're going to get -- at least, without thick Manchester accents.
